Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for us? Check below or contact us.

How many people can parasail at a time?

We can fly single, double, or triple with a maximum combined weight of 450lbs. It will be up to the captain to decide the safest way to fly everyone within your group. Please note, most people do not weigh enough to fly single. If you are solo, we may pair you with someone else on the boat.

Is there a weight limit or age restriction?

The minimum age to parasail is 5 years old. The maximum combined weight limit is 450lbs. Pregnant people are not allowed to parasail.

My group is parasailing, can I just ride along on the boat?

Yes, we allow observers for $25+tax at the time of check in. We do not take reservations for observers in advance and they cannot be booked online. When you come to check in, if there are still seats available, we can allow observers to sign up.

What should we wear? What should we bring?

Wear bathing suits/beach attire. You take off and land on the boat, but we do dip you in the water. Prepare to get wet from about the waist down. Wear plenty of sunscreen and bring some water. There is no shade on board and you will be out for up to 90 minutes. Travel light! If you do not need to bring your bag, we are happy to hold it in the office. Storage space is limited on the boat and everything has the potential to get wet.

Do you have group rates?

We sure do! Group rates are for 5 or more people. You can view pricing on the Tickets page.

Where do we park? What time should we arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. The St. Augustine Municipal Marina does not have a parking lot. There are Pay-to-Park spots all along the waterfront and pay stations along the sidewalks where you can pay with cash or card (you will need to know your license plate number!). Place the receipt on your dash. Alternatively, there is a flat rate/all day parking garage at the visitor's center about a mile away. Please allow time to get parking situated as downtown gets very busy!

How long is the trip?

You will be in the air for 7 - 10 minutes depending on your flight choice. Plan to be on the boat for up to 90 minutes.

What happens if it rains?

Parasailing is very weather dependent. We will only go out in safe conditions. If we have to cancel due to weather, you have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Are we required to sign a waiver?

Yes, every person who gets on the boat must have a waiver signed. You will receive the waiver link in your confirmation email once you have purchased tickets. It will include a link to share with others in your party!
